A (MOSTLY FREE) DAY IN PHILADELPHIA 🔔

Come with me to Philly on a (mostly free) day trip! I was looking for affordable day trips from NYC with my sister, and Philadelphia is the perfect spot! rideourbus offers $14 round trip tickets to Philly, plus there are a ton of free activities and amazing cheap eats nearby. 

Check out what we did in Philly (literally walked 14 miles but it was a beautiful day!)
🔔 Liberty Bell (free)
🏛️ Independence Hall National Park (free or $1 to reserve a tour)
🍴 Reading Terminal Market (bustling food market, free to walk around but we got delicious cookies for $2 and Latin American food for $10)
🪜 Walked the Rocky Steps (free, great views)
🏘️ Explored Elfreth’s Alley (Historic street, dating back to 1703, free)
❤️ LOVE Park: Quick photo stop (free)
🌲 Rittenhouse Square: Hung out in the park with a picnic blanket (free)
⛱️ Spruce Street Harbor Park: Walked by here because I heard they have free hammocks. Turns out they do but the park opens May 12! 
🥩 Ate a Philly cheesesteak (duh!). It was my first one ever and I went to Ishkabibbles ($11)

It’s such a great day trip from NYC (only 2 hours by bus). I recommend traveling with rideourbus. The buses were clean, on time and affordable, and they have USB outlets and free water bottles,. Tickets to Philly are only $7 each way!
