Head to Times Square today to say goodbye to your unwanted memories of the past year at the annual Good Riddance Day event!

Write down what you’ve dealt with this year, and then you can make your way through a miniature obstacle course representing everything you’ve overcome. At the end, you’ll break through the finish line.

Register in advance (link in stories) and join in person at #GoodRiddanceDay for the chance to win two VIP tickets to the official TimesSquarenyc New Year’s Eve Party. Must be present in person at the event today to win.

Good Riddance Day is inspired by a Latin American tradition where people stuff dolls with objects representing bad memories before setting them on fire. 

Note: Good Riddance Day is a symbolic event, not a shredding, burning, or disposal event. Please do not bring any items with you to dispose of.
