Have you explored Lassen Volcanic National Park? We’ve lived in California our entire lives and this was Evan’s 1st visit. This wonderland can be easily overlooked but it’s an outdoor lovers paradise!

📍 Lake Tahoe - 3 hours 
📍 San Francisco - 3.5 hours 
📍 Burney Falls - 45 min.
📍 Mt. Shasta - 2 hours

🥾 Bumpass Hell- this is relatively easy & fam friendly hike — 3-miles & 426 elevation 👌.
•
🟢 On this quick hike you’ll get expansive views of the park— and at the Artist’s Palette, walk atop thermal pools, bubbling mud pots, and boiling spring’s 🤩. 
•
⚠️ Stay on the boardwalk — or you may fall through the thin crust into boiling water! 🥵 Now that’s a reason to stay on trail, right?? 
•
🔺TIP: We arrived by 8am to enjoy all to ourselves…. but by 10am the small parking lot was packed and cars were rounding the corner 😣. 
🔺Arrive early & only park in the designated lot… you’ll preserve the area & enjoy it SO much more! 
•
