Scotland has 2 GORGEOUS National Parks, and we were lucky enough to explore both last month. If you also have a short window of time while road tripping through the Loch Lommond & Trossachs National Park, THIS is the hike to check out—it lives up to the hype! 🤩

WHAT YOU NEED to KNOW:

🗺 Ben A’an Hike—
•
📍Located 1-2 hrs from Edinburgh & Glasgow.
•
🚙 A perfect day trip from the city, or road side stop when heading to the western Highlands. 
•
🥾 Short, sweet, and a little steep (but not scary!): 2.3 miles & 1,141 elevation gain. 
•
🙌Good for all ages & fam friendly 
—AllTrails notes as ‘hard’, but we saw numerous young kids, and many reviews agree it’s a ‘moderate’ trail—very well marked and maintained. 
•
💰 Parking: £3 at trailhead (no park entry fee!). 
•
⭐️Overall, absolutely STUNNING views for the effort!
