Have you heard of Yosemite’s ORIGINAL #Firefall?! 📚

For almost 100 summers, Yosemite hosted a spectacle 🤩—burning hot embers were launched from the top of #GlacierPoint to the Valley floor, 3,000 feet below—a literal ‘Fire Fall’. Can you imagine??

As a kid, my Dad watched the flames flow down the cliff side from their camp site 😯. He told us about it when we visited Yosemite together this summer!

📅 Today’s Firefall occurs when the setting sun reflects perfectly on Horsetail Falls, like a stream of fire. The natural phenomenon is happening this week and likely next!
