Meet our choreographer (and cousin): Mackenzie Larkin Symanietz kenziesymanietz

Grandaughter of Shirley Larkin and daughter of Molly (Larkin) Symanietz, Mackenzie was born to dance.  She began dancing at Larkin Dance Studio as a toddler and continued through her senior year of high school.

After graduating from Mahtomedi High School, Mackenzie went on to the University of Minnesota where she danced on the National Champion dance team for two years. While finishing college she joined her mother, Molly, and aunt, Michele, teaching, choreographing and running the studio at Larkin as the next generation successor in the family-owned business. 
Mackenzie choreographs award winning competitive dances for Larkin Dance Studio as well as for high schools and colleges nationwide including the 2019 National Champions, University of Minnesota. Her passion, creativity, amazing choreography and skilled instruction are irreplaceable assets to our journey on World of Dance. 
We couldn’t imagine being on this journey with anyone else. Kenzie’s love, training and talent made all of this possible. She embodies not only Shirley’s legacy, but heart. We will be forever grateful to her for always pushing us to be our best and dream BIG!  We love you, Kenz!
