Lots of drawing on felt with markers for this animation, which was super fun. Lighting effects were achieved by taking an extra shot with the eyes/lights lit up and then combining in post. Nina Lee made all the cabbages, vines, tiny pipes, umbrellas and the BoxTroll Hunter truck. 
Took close to a month.
