Each day I wake up for work, I think of the many reasons I am grateful to work at such a wonderful place like MSU.  A positive attitude brings happy faces and positive results! 
Life has many challenges, but I never allow those challenges to cloud my day. I am grateful to work in an environment that offers students, faculty, and staff so many opportunities!
I enjoy working with students, and each day they make me laugh, they teach me something each day, and I am grateful for those opportunities! At campus recreation, we strive to offer various opportunities to our students and provide them with a space to be free of the day's stresses, offer them an area that is their own, and I know that I am part of making Campus Recreation and the recreation center a great place for students. 
My original path after high school was to become a Physical Therapist, but... life got in the way, and a family emergency made me redirect my career goals.  I went to an entirely different University then I was initially (Kean University). I met a Professor that said to me, life happens, but you control the direction your life will ultimately go.  After much exploration, I settled on a career path in Urban and Outdoor Recreation, which eventually, after many years, lead me to MSU! I have been at the University over 11 years and have touched many lives of the many students that have worked with but more important is they have touched my life in many ways. Montclair State University Community has been my home away from home, the campus has so much to offer if you are open to exploring and accepting of what is available. For me, the most crucial aspect of this University is its diverse community; everyone is welcome, and it is safe.  One day... one opportunity... and you will look back on your days at MSU as the best time of your life, I know that I will! #RHOMS #RedHawkPride #MontclairStateU #CarpeDiem #SeizetheDay #StudentRecreation
