I went on a Chichen Itza (Mayan pyramid) tour and stopped by a small colonial town called Valladolid in Yucatán. They’re known for these rolled wafer desserts called marquesitas. They’re typically filled with cheese, but I wanted mine with only cajeta (caramel) and banana. 

I know some of you don’t like eating from street vendors, but I think of it as a great way of getting to try what locals actually eat :) ❣️
