Today is Senior Day! katemasonjar shares with us her biggest take away looking back over her five years at Lipscomb; growing in faith & soccer. #1031 #ToHimBeTheGlory #OurTeam #beLieve #WeHaveFaithInYourFuture #GoBisons #ASUNbuilt .... “Something I have realized this season as I look back on the past 4 or 5 years is that I didn’t come here to play soccer, contrary to what I always thought; I came here ultimately to encounter Jesus in a very real way, which has forever changed the trajectory of my life. Yeah I’ve loved the soccer part of it, but the people I’ve met and played with along the way have made all the difference. 
A quote that I read recently in “Everybody Always” by Bob Goff reads, “People don’t grow where they’re planted; they grow where they’re loved,” and I don’t think there is any better way to describe my experience being a part of this team here at Lipscomb than that.
