Over the next few weeks, we will share stories from our soon-to-be graduates about how their time at Rutgers has shaped them into who they are today πŸ“š Meet Nikhil Sadaranganey, a graduating senior at @rutgersartsandsciences majoring in Political Science πŸŽ“ β€œComing to a school as large as Rutgers, it can be difficult to figure out where your place is. In an effort to find my community, I joined several organizations, ranging from student government to a non-profit to a Greek organization. While all those clubs provided me with varied opportunities and experiences, the one skill I developed through all of them was leadership. After COVID-19, there was a clear lack of precedent on how to move forward, particularly for student organizations. As I noticed students struggling to restore the campus community that had personally given me so much, I realized the importance of young people developing the tools and, more importantly, the will and desire to lead. Being in positions of leadership myself, I learned firsthand the value of establishing trust, communication, and perseverance within a team. Young people today are uniquely positioned at the intersection of historic social, political, and technological change such that having our generation in positions of leadership is not just necessary, but intuitive. Rutgers has provided me and so many of my peers with the skills necessary to enter the global community ready to make an impact. While I may have not been sure of who I was when I first reached the banks, as I leave, I am certain that I am just one of many Scarlet Knights ready to lead our generation forward.” Check back each week as we feature #RUClassOf2022 graduates. ## Stats - **Views:** 0 - **Likes:** 1,034 - **Shares:** 0 - **Comments:** 23 ## Credits These are the roles credited on Gondola.
