REVIEW: As December Falls really deserve this. Spending the last few years developing their tight-knit community in the heart of British pop-punk, seeing them take to the main stage at Slam Dunk feels like all of that hard work paying off in abundance. However, when you have a powerhouse like Bethany Curtis leading the charge, hitting the high notes like it’s second nature and radiating sheer delight with every foot stomp, you can see why they can boss these big occasions so easily. The same can be said when you have emotionally rich anthems like ‘I Don’t Feel Like Feeling Great’ and ‘Join The Club’ in your ranks, showcasing tear-stained openness and thrilling honesty in equal measure. It’s the sort of performance that carves instant fans out of those with a passing interest and further cements the faith of those who were already firm believers. Next stop? Well, world domination, of course.
