If true courage is being scared of something but doing it anyway then true happiness is confronting sadness and smiling anyway. 

A recent MRI confirmed my suspicions that everything is not okay, but I'm making the decision to smile through it. Frowning is kinda hard anyway 🤷‍♀️

To everyone facing an injury, don't forget to smile about how stupid you look in a swim cap, the ridiculous number of emojis your mom includes in every text, and all the other little things 🤗 Trust me, a river of your own tears will not expedite healing..I've tried 😅
