As a team we have committed to continuing our education about how to be anti-racist and allies. Following a conversation about privilege with Tylor Hart (our asst. director of student-athlete support services), we took part in “Justice in July” where throughout the month, the senior class took turns sharing a podcast, video or article with the team to further our education about being active allies of the Black community. We then continued into “Anti-racism in August” where the seniors guided the underclassmen in sharing resources they learned from. 
 
Today before practice, we each reflected on what we have learned from the past two months and what we stand for individually, and as a team. 
 
Our next step for this month is to support initiatives that aim to grow our sport’s diversity and inclusion.  #noborderjustsports
