Wouldn’t You Like To Know Wednesday..... what Celeste Hubbard ‘04 is doing.....”It’s been 20 years since I stepped onto campus for my freshman season. I now live in Atlanta, GA with my husband, two stepdaughters and our two dogs, Biggie (GoodBoiBiggie_Yorkie on insta haha) and Pup-Pup. 
My husband, eldest daughter and I all work together at our advertising agency Chemistry ( VisitTheLab ) while our youngest attends college at UNC Greensboro where she just completed her freshman year as a student-athlete on the Volleyball team. I often reminisce about my days as a student-athlete - the wins and the loses - but today, I can’t help but to recall my 2001 season. Specifically, the morning of September 11th when I awoke to the news that a plane had struck the World Trade Center. As I dressed for practice, we still had not realized the half of it. On that day, and the days thereafter, our nation grappled with the reality of the devasting events of 9/11. Sports paused briefly to honor the lives that had been lost. But when play resumed, it reinvigorated the nation and we all returned to the games we loved so much. So, for this year’s athletes whose seasons have been postponed, I feel deeply for you all and I pray you will have the opportunity to return to the game you have dedicated your lives to. This shall all pass and when you have the opportunity to compete again, play with heart and play with pride. Simply put, cherish the opportunity to play at all. #BUFHAPRIDE” #bualumni
