For me, the stars ✨ aligned to get a lot of podcast and video content done in a one week trip between Vegas and LA. And because you know I can’t pass up a great time batch, I made it happen.

Pro Tip: Whether you’re recording content or just meeting new people, don’t ask for someone’s elevator pitch. It’s so played out. If they even have one, it’s probably not as fun as you want it to be. You need MUCH MORE to build an interesting conversation around. Look for commonalities by... actually listening and paying attention! 👀 Ask about them and find the opportunities to build a relationship.

DON’T BE FREAKED OUT BY RELATIONSHIPS! Weak tie connections can be just as likely to help with job connections, even more than our closest relationships can. There was also a study in 2014 showing that the more weak ties we have, the happier we are. I know. Weird. But true.
