Yes I get it, it's amazing to have the money, the partner, the car, etc. but think about long term.⁠

Think about the last time you went to the mall bought that new suit or that new dress.⁠

You most likely couldn't stop trying it on because of the way it made you feel.⁠

✅ It was new.⁠
✅ It was exciting.⁠

Where is it now? Most likely hanging on a hanger in your closet as  you are getting ready saying "I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR."⁠

It only made you happy for the short term.⁠

Point being it's about how we think something is going to make us feel that drives us to desire it more so than just having the actual "thing".⁠

I'm not saying to give up on working towards buying nice things but to emphasize there is more to success and fulfillment.⁠
