February is Black History Month.

The 2024 theme for Black History Month is: “Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build."

It is a fitting tribute to the rich past and present contributions and accomplishments of Black Canadian Paralympians and serves as an inspirational call to the next generation of Black Paralympians to make their own impact at the Games.

Throughout this month we will be celebrating the contributions of Black Canadians to the Paralympic Movement in Canada.

Février est le Mois de l'histoire des Noirs

En 2024, le thème pour le Mois de l’histoire des Noirs est «  L’excellence des personnes noires : un patrimoine à célébrer; un avenir à construire »

Il s’agit d’un hommage approprié aux riches contributions et réalisations passées et présentes des athlètes paralympiques noires et noirs du Canada et d’un appel inspirant à la prochaine génération d’athlètes paralympiques noires et noirs pour qu’ils aient leur propre impact aux Jeux.

Tout au long de ce mois, nous célébrerons les contributions des Canadiens noirs au mouvement paralympique au Canada.
