How I set up and film video testimonials. Read below ⬇️ 

Camera: Implement a dual-camera strategy to enhance your post-production choices. If your subject falters on their dialogue, a smooth transition to the other camera can maintain the flow of the conversation.

Lighting: Adopt a three-point lighting scheme, concentrating two lights on your subject, and a supplementary light on the background to emphasize the foreground. The backdrop is equally crucial as your interviewee, as it further captivates the viewer’s attention. I typically use the 120 DX3 lighting, configured with a dome as my primary light source, and an Arri light kit to establish the foreground illumination.

Audio: In the realm of interviews, the significance of audio quality cannot be overstressed. It holds the power to either elevate or undermine your interview. Ensure a robust audio setup, inclusive of a wireless microphone and an overhead shotgun mic for redundancy. I usually prefer using the @djiglobal wireless Lavalier microphone supplemented by a Rode microphone overhead, connected to a field recorder.
