Rafah, our hearts bleed for you.

After almost eight months of genocide, it feels like the first day all over again. Seeing innocent lives taken, burnt alive after being displaced and seeking refuge in tents, is one of the most horrendous scenes anyone can witness.

Over 50 Palestinians have been massacred, including actual beheaded and burnt babies, yet the world remains silent. Parents are forced to use their bare hands to collect their children’s remains, but where are the news headlines? Why hasn’t anyone stopped this?

Instead, Israel bombed Rafah 60 times in 48 hours after the ICJ ordered it to stop the violence, and they call it a “mistake.” This is Israel’s response to the ICJ and ICC rulings, and to all the countries recognizing a Palestinian state.

Our hearts are broken, and we no longer have words to describe this atrocious violence against our country and our people.

This must end. The occupation must end.

Pray for Rafah. Pray for Palestine.
