On Friday, The University of Tulsa had the privilege of hosting Robert Hull, the consul general of Ireland, for a great discussion on academic and cultural collaboration between Ireland and Tulsa.
🤝 During his visit, Hull engaged with TU administration and gained insights into TU’s involvement in Ireland, including student exchange programs, faculty research initiatives, and literary study of Irish modernist authors such as James Joyce.
🇮🇪 The consul general emphasized the importance of nurturing cultural ties between Ireland and the U.S. and enhancing student mobility. Currently, TU has established key partnerships with three institutions in Ireland: dublincityuniversity, universitycollegedublin, and Technological University of the Shannon in Athlone.
