It’s Deakins Season in Atlanta.

We began our first day in Atlanta touring the lot at Trilith Studios and holding several Q&A sessions with students from nearby universities and with some of the Trilith staff members. After making our way back into the city, we signed copies of Byways for a large group of excited fans beating the chill at A Cappella Books. Later that evening, we participated in a pre-screening Q&A for THE MAN WHO WASN’T THERE which was screened at the Plaza Theatre to a sold-out audience. Later today, we’ll be returning to the Plaza Theatre for a Q&A about tonight’s screening of JESSE JAMES (on film!). If you purchased tickets before the show sold out, we hope you bring us questions as good as last night’s!

Special thanks to Frank Patterson at Trilith Studios for leading us on our tour and to the studio and all the other sponsors making our visit to the city possible. Our thanks to A Cappella Books for hosting our booksigning event for Byways, and to Christopher Escobar, who moderated last night’s Q&A and owns the Plaza and Tara Theatres. And a big thank you to Calvin Florian (pictured last) who organized this week’s (sold-out!) series of events in Atlanta!
