In Sunday’s episode, Team Deakins has a wonderful conversation with cinematographer Benoit Delhomme. In this episode, we learn Benoit’s process for building color schemes and about his experience enduring the brutality of the Australian Outback while shooting The Proposition with John Hillcoat. Benoit tells us that when he shoots in a foreign city, he likes to pay tribute to the great filmmakers who have shot there before him and about how challenging it was for him to learn how to talk to and lead his camera crew.
