For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @hariarun18 & @sakhudi ✨⁣
⁣
"We first met at an ice cream social held by Theta Tau. At the event, Hari suggested that I sign up for the First Year Integration Program so I could find a mentor. Lo and behold, he became my mentor for my first year! A few months later, I joined the fraternity in Spring 2020. Through Theta Tau, I was lucky to become Hari’s little and since then he’s become my big brother and my best friend. One of our favorite memories together is driving around, jamming out to throwbacks on our way to Taco Bell! We haven’t been able to see each other in person much because of Covid, so we FaceTime almost every day to make up for it. We started @ru.shakti in the fall of 2020 after realizing that mental health in South Asian communities was something we were passionate about. Without Rutgers, we would have never had the platform to start Shakti and I would’ve never gotten to meet my big brother."⁣
