For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @lexpeebo & @jess_manjally ✨⁣
⁣
"Jess and I met in the lobby of Lucy Stone Hall in our sophomore year, and the rest is history. We had both joined Verse One, a dance team and Rutgers Org. This was truly a stroke of luck, because we probably wouldn't have met otherwise. She was in the School of Arts and Sciences studying pre-vet, and I was studying Mechanical Engineering. We quickly became best friends, and after an awkward conversation, more than a situationship. Together, we've danced on a couple different teams, made memories with our amazing dance friends, adopted two silly cats, and taken some great pictures at different Rutgers spots. See if you recognize any of them :) Fast forward four years, and Jess is now studying at Long Island University's College of Veterinary Medicine, and I am an engineer working at Lockheed Martin. We still dance when we get the chance, too. We're lucky that Rutgers has so many orgs that bring people together from all different backgrounds. And lastly....go check out Verse One! I guarantee you'll meet some wonderful people."⁣
