For this week's story of #HowWeMetAtRU, we have @postmaloney20 & @rapunzelyse ✨⁣
⁣
"Joe and Elyse met by chance through the easiest of ways. She was visiting her friend at his Newell apartment, when Joe walked in. It was love at first sight and sarcastic, flirty jabs flew. Since that moment in 2010, they spent as much time together as they could at her Jameson dorm, Cook Campus, and College Ave. Their first date was a surprise trip to NYC for an Usher concert. ⁣
⁣
In 2016, (after life got in the way), Joe reached out to Elyse to ask if she would be his date to his best friend's wedding. She had since moved to Florida, but was excited to spend time with him again. The sparks flew and love was rekindled. Shortly after the wedding, they started long distance dating. In 2018, Joe bent the knee to Elyse in a beautiful Beauty and the Beast style proposal at the Grand Floridian. A year and a day later, they said "I Do" at Nanina's in the Park in New Jersey. ⁣
⁣
Today, they are doing just fine enjoying the time together and planning for a future house and family."⁣
