🎉 Exciting News for Apache Junction! 🎉

We're thrilled to announce a historic milestone in our mission to create a more vibrant and thriving downtown community. The City of Apache Junction has just acquired ten acres in the heart of our downtown area, including the iconic Grand Hotel site at W. Apache Trail and N. Apache Trail.

“This is a monumental day for the City of Apache Junction,” said Patrick Ainsworth, our Economic Development Director. “This marks the first time the city has purchased land to support commercial development in our downtown district. We’re eager to find partners to bring exciting new businesses to our community."

This purchase aligns perfectly with our Downtown Revitalization Master Plan and our "Opportunity Zone" incentives, paving the way for new restaurants, retail, hospitality, and entertainment venues.

The 10.64-acre property was acquired for $2.9 million from the city’s general fund. Now, we're ready to attract businesses that will shape the future of Apache Junction.
