𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞?
I've ALWAYS LOVED helping people. From the time I was a little girl, we have family home videos (I think I was 3) of me running over to help my brother when he fell off his bike. I've always been fascinated by the human body and how we are capable of recovering/healing, how complex each of us are, and how these play into treating patients as the individuals they are and finding the right way that helps them recover and heal, both physically, emotionally, and mentally.

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬/𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫?
I've been blessed with many mentors and leaders. Many of my nursing educators, as well as Kim Moeller and Nicol Hedgpeth here at City of Hope. They share so much of themselves for the better of their teams and for our growth. It's amazing to work with people who are exceptional nurses and humans. 

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲?
I've said this from when I was first hired in September of 2020 — this is the BEST CULTURE I have ever worked in! The amount of recognition from leadership, all the way from the top down, as well as from colleagues is significant compared to other organizations. The supportive nature, our diversity and inclusion training, our desire to be not just a great enterprise but a great system of human care, networking, and healing all in the name of bringing hope and cures to cancer and diabetes is astounding. I truly believe in our Mission, Vision, Values, and Behaviors. We do what God has called us to do by living these each day.
