I firmly believe that it’s a misconception that when you’re solo traveling, that you’re all alone. In the beginning, you might physically be alone but over time, I’ve actually found it difficult finding alone time.

When I first started solo traveling, one of my ways of survival was meeting other creators through social media (I give Instagram all the credit for my friendships today). And although they’ve been some of my fondest memories, it got to the point where I was barely alone anymore and I ended up craving my alone time SO bad.

Eventually, I ended up getting my alone time back and fell in love with solo traveling all over again. Solo traveling is not for everyone, but I recommend everyone to try it out at least once in their lives! It’s changed my life for the better and throughout your journey, it’s almost impossible to not learn anything from it. It’s a feeling that’s hard to describe but you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about once you try it out for yourself. Safe & happy travels 🖤
