Before making the decision to travel solo, I didn’t really have a plan and had absolutely no idea how long I would survive for. At first, I never really considered solo traveling but it all happened because I was put in a last minute, unexpected situation that forced me to take my first solo trip abroad. Fast forward 3 years, and I’ve fallen in love with the act of traveling alone. It’s funny how life works but never in my wildest dreams did I think that life would bring me to where I am now.

When I pursued traveling full time, I made the intention to reach out and meet other like-minded people in every city I traveled to, making my journey not so solo anymore. And subconsciously, I’ve realized that I was doing this to prevent myself from experiencing loneliness. Both traveling with others and alone have influenced my travel preferences and style over time and as I understand that life can deter me in any direction, all I can do is thank God for the path He’s provided for me throughout these past 3 years.

If you ask me — how much longer am I going to travel for? I still don’t have an answer but as long as the path is still there, only time will tell. Safe & happy travels 🖤
