It’s day two of Flagship Forward! Last year we held our first ever Flagship Forward campaign, and the response was outstanding. All donations made this week play a huge role in supporting our athletes on and off the water. Today, read more about the positive impact of college athletics from one of our alumni, Amanda Kraus:

“Joining the UMASS women’s rowing program was the best decision I made in college. The team immediately became like family and I found myself surrounded by incredibly hard working, strong, dedicated, (and funny!) women who would become some of my best friends for life. I’m forever indebted to UMASS women’s rowing for teaching me how to be a part of the ultimate team. I would not have the confidence (or stamina) to do the work I do now without having been part of such an amazing program. I’m forever grateful to the coaches and my teammates for the time I had on the Connecticut river with them.”
