The staugustinehistoryfestival kicks off TONIGHT at 6:30 PM at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum! Dr. Paul Johnston of the Smithsonian Institution and Dr. Roger Smith of the St. Augustine Historical Society will discuss how and why a pewter button with “U.S.A.” distinctly revealed on its front side may have been a trophy of war.
