For our Donor Spotlight this month, we want to honor Dr. Paul Eckstein, who passed away on September 27th, 2021. He was a longtime docent and friend of the Museum. Dr. Eckstein donated much of his time to the Museum providing educational presentations for community organizations. At heart, he was truly an educator and provided guests with information about lighthouse lenses, right whales, and sea turtles. 

Dr. Eckstein spent much of his time as a volunteer at the base of the tower, completing 2,000 volunteer hours. He truly believed in our mission of preserving history and was also a donor, especially to our Maritime Center and Honor A Veteran campaign.
