## Caption

St. Augustine has always been the destination for people from other places! Like many others before and after him, Elias Wallen moved to the city after living in Savannah as a merchant.  In 1828, Wallen was sued for poor workmanship on the lighthouse tower and Keeper's house due to failing plaster on the exterior.  We have no record of how to suit ended.
