On my friend Lewis Howes School of Greatness podcast, he asks his guests to picture themselves in their deathbed.

He has them imagine their grandson in the hospital, asking grandpa for 1 last piece of wisdom before they pass on.

Well, if I were going to die tomorrow, here’s that piece of wisdom I’d like to pass onto you:

“Results Are The Only Things That Matter”

I’m giving you this cold harsh truth because I spent my youth blaming other people for my problems.

❌I blamed my ghetto environment in Southside Chicago for my poverty

❌I blamed my genetics for how skinny and weak I was

❌I blamed the economy for my lack of financial success

I wasted so many years being a victim that when I finally flipped the switch and became successful…..

…it made me angry because I know I’d be so much further ahead if I dropped the excuses and began focusing on RESULTS.
