🍪TWIX COOKIE BITES🍪

These little cookies are so yummy and reminds me of a Twix candy bar! These are low carb, keto, & macro friendly! The dough & filling is super easy & comes together so quickly, try them out!!

Cookie dough:
1 1/2 C almond flour
2 TBSP maple syrup miiro_plantbased 
1 TBSP sweetener rxsugar 
3 TBSP melted butter or coconut oil
1/2 TSP vanilla extract 
Optional, 1/2 TSP caramel oooflavors 
Mix all ingredients together until a dough forms. Scoop out 12 balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Using the back of a teaspoon, press a small indent on the top of each cookie. Bake at 350 for 6-8 minutes until edges are set. Let cool & make filling. 

PB Caramel filling:
1/2 C peanut butter
1/3 C maple syrup miiro_plantbased 
Mix together until smooth. Once cookies are cooled, put a scoop of filling on top of each (and some crushed nuts if desired) and place in the freezer to set. 

Once they are chilled, melt some chocolate and dip the tops of the cookies into the chocolate. I used skinnymechocolates baking melts. Let the chocolate harden and drizzle with peanut utter if desired. Store in an airtight container, or you can place them in the fridge or freezer for a nice cold treat.
