Today is my birthday and I'd like to dole out a few thanks. Firstly, thank you thekatharris for taking this portrait of me on my 36th birthday. Birthday portraits are important...they mark milestones in a special way.

Secondly, anyone close to me knows my tasseled loafer "collection" verges on vice. So thank you AllenEdmonds for my new wide-weave tasseled loafers. They are the perfect present for the guy who has more tasseled pairs than he's willing to own up to. Don't judge me—it is what it is. #AllenEdmonds is currently having their anniversary sale through the 24th, good time to pick up a pair...maybe an early birthday present to yourself.
