Cranberry Gin Fizz Cocktail:
Yield: 2 drinks

Cranberry Simple Syrup
1 cup whole cranberries
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
 
Add cranberries, sugar & water to a medium pot over very low heat. Cook over a bare simmer, stirring frequently, for 20 minutes. Cranberries will be very soft & the liquid will be a bit thick but shouldn’t have a jelly consistency. Keep the heat low so you don’t make cranberry sauce.
Strain the mixture into a jar, pressing on the softened cranberries to squeeze the juice out. Chill the syrup for 15 minutes before using. 
 

4 ounces @Empress1908Gin 
2 ounces cranberry simple syrup
1 small bottle prosecco, champagne, or sparkling juice

Dip the rims of your glasses in maple syrup, then sugar. Add ice, cranberry simple syrup, and Empress 1908 Gin to a drink shaker. Shake to chill, then divide between glasses. Top with prosecco & a cranberry skewer and sprig of rosemary. Enjoy!
