Retired ATF official Pete Forcelli blew the whistle on federal prosecutors in Phoenix refusing to prosecute cases involving guns being funneled to the Mexican drug cartels more than a decade ago. Forcelli tells NewsNation the problems long pre-dated “Operation Fast and Furious,” where agents allowed guns to be bought be cartel straw buyers in order to track them – but the operation netted no high-level arrests.
