Advice to younger player: Bet on yourself. Don’t let someone tell you that you can’t accomplish your dreams. Adversity is going to hit, embrace it and learn from it. Baseball is a game of failure and the ones who are able to handle it are the ones that are going to succeed.

Words to those he loves: I want to thank my parents first, who’ve sacrificed so much for me to pursue my dreams of playing college baseball. The hours of driving me to games, sitting out in the cold and rain to watch me play, and the money they’ve put up for me to chase my dreams. Also, to the many coaches I’ve had, dating back to little league all the way through junior college and now at CSU, thank you for teaching me so much more than how to play baseball. The life lessons I have learned over the last 18 years will be cherished and carry over to whatever God has in store for me next.  #BaseballStuff #BucsBSB ⚾️⚔️
