Advice to younger players: always be a good teammate and play for the man next to you. Your time on the baseball field will eventually come to an end, but the relationships you build through this game will last a lifetime. Enjoy the little things this game brings you; the locker room Shenanigans, bus rides, hotel stays, late night sitting in the cages, and even those early morning workouts that are held long before the sun comes up. Those are the things you were going to remember the most. You are not going to remember what you did or how you played in the 47 game of the season but you will always remember the time spent with your brothers. Enjoy it because it goes by fast.

Words to those he loves: to my family, coaches, and all my past/current teammates, thank you for the countless hours that you all have invested into me. I would not be the man I am today without you all in my life. Through all the ups and downs, traveling, practices, workouts, games, and fellowship, I cannot thank you all enough. I hope I can make an impact on someone’s life the way you have all impact of mine. I am forever grateful to have people like you in my corner in life. I know our time in this game all eventually come to an end, but his relationships will last a lifetime and I appreciate you all for that.
