When her daughter, Ruthie's health began to improve after a gut wrenching kidney disease prognosis, Leigh Donadieu knew she had to do something to mark her gratitude. She decided to become a living donor through @theNationalKidneyRegistry. Leigh donated a kidney to a stranger in need and in turn, earned a "kidney coupon" should her own daughter ever need a transplant. 

"This experience has been the most challenging and rewarding of my life so far, and I would do it again a hundred times over. Because in the end, somebody got a piece of me, and I got peace of mind."
