Congratulations to Armenta Washington, senior research coordinator for the community outreach and engagement program at Penn’s Abramson Cancer Center, for being recognized as phillymag’s 2021 #HealthcareHero for her advocacy work in access to #colorectalcancer screenings in the community. She received a $15,000 prize to donate to her charity of choice, Frontline Dads, which offers intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and cultural development through transformative programming for African American men and “at-risk” youth.
