In response to the overwhelming increase in patients struggling with opioid use disorder, lancastergeneralhealth launched #JoiningForces, a community coalition working together against the #opioidepidemic. The partnership works to connect patients to treatment resources, end the stigma surrounding addiction and above all, save lives.

Dr. Tara Tawil, hospitalist and lead physician on the LG Health Drug and Alcohol Task Force, shares her involvement with this vital work and how it offers those struggling not only a chance to get treatment, but a chance for hope.
