#HallOfFameFriday: Janet Shaughnessy

The final member of the 2016 HOF class is Janet Shaughnessy, who worked for Purchase College Athletics for 40 years.

During her time with the Panthers, Shaughnessy served numerous roles in the department including Athletic / Divisional Director and Budget Manager.

Janet began her career in 1979 before retiring at the end of 2019 to spend more time with her grandkids and family. 

Many of her methods and business concepts are still in use today, as she was a progressive thinker and planner. While Shaughnessy never played for Purchase, her impact on the program might be more than anyone who has ever walked through our doors. #FangsOut #PantherPride #BeUnstoppable
