Yesterday, I was gifted the opportunity to “virtually” be interviewed by hayesonit for his brilliant project  thefagnosticpodcast . We talked about religion, filmmaking, how binary concepts literally kill people, the ridiculousness of gendered clothing, and some other queer-heavy fun stuff. 

At one point Mat hit me with the infamous, “How do you self-care?” My knee jerk response was laughter at the absurd idea that I’m any kind of example for self-care, but in stumbling through finding an answer I realized it’s the trees for me. The further into the trees I go, the lighter I feel. Nature is magic.

Thank you for digging that out of me, Mat. I’m glad to know you.
