While on assignment in Blue Ridge back in May, this baking superstar became one of my favorite women of all time while I interviewed her about the story of sweetshoppesouth. (Winner of cupcake.wars NBD.) This lady had me cry-laughing and then real crying and then eating a cronut for the first time. It was a true, southern connection.
