One woman's last-minute decision to hike the majestic Grand Canyon results in a life-altering change. 

In early 2017, Lisa Abelar found herself fleeing an abusive marriage, struggling daily to keep her head above water and her kids safe. 

Though she’d only ever been to the Grand Canyon once as a teen, years prior, she agreed at the last minute to join a guided camping trip into the Grand Canyon. She wasn’t seeking spirituality. She wasn’t looking for a savior. She sought only quiet.

What transpired during that weekend in the Canyon changed Lisa’s life forever.
