April 18th. One year ago today I stood at the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail and started my 2,500+ mile hike from Mexico to Canada… It’s crazy to think about how much has changed in a year but I can’t help thinking that sooo much of what I learned about resilience and about myself out on the trail was actually preparing me for this next wild and crazy adventure of parenthood. As I look back on the memories, I find myself with tears in my eyes and a smile on my face… I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to complete this massive life dream. Thank you PCT for everything you gave me… and for everything you stripped away. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. ⁣
