Miss Tabor was so excited about the recent snowstorm that the only way I could get her to be still enough for a photo was to wrap her into a cuddle. I can’t say I blame her though, I’m pretty excited myself. As a competitive snowboarder in my younger years, I’ve chased winters by going to whichever resorts opened earliest in the season or sometimes even to opposite hemispheres in the summer months.

While park snowboarding will always be my first love, in the last few years I’ve found a few other ways to enjoy the snow like skiing and ski touring, split boarding, and even winter hiking. While I definitely don’t ride park like I used to, I’ve found that there are so many other ways to challenge myself and enjoy time outside (even when it’s super cold).

No matter what activity I post about, I find that the most common questions I get are always about clothing and gear.
